Interview: ecurrencyhodler on Litecoin

ecurrencyhodler, better known among Litecoin enthusiasts as E, is one of the most active cryptocurrency educators and helpers you will find. As a moderator of the r/litecoin subreddit, he greets newcomers and makes sure that all the questions receive a proper answer. As an educator, he has established The Litecoin School of Crypto, for which he writes articles about the basics of cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, E has written and published a book called “Understanding Litecoin – The Digital Currency for Payments”, which is available for sale on the website of the Litecoin Foundation.

Given his impressive background and continuous involvement, ecurrencyhodler is very knowledgeable of the phenomena taking place in the world of the oldest active altcoin on the market, and has had the generosity to share some of his insights.

In this exclusive interview, the LTC educator and volunteer talks about being enthusiastic for the Confidential Transactions implementation through the Mimble Wimble protocol, and presents some more details about Litecoin’s status. Both technologically and financially, Charlie Lee’s project is undergoing an interesting process that will definitely set it apart from its older and bigger sibling Bitcoin.

Becoming more private and fungible can also become a pattern that Bitcoin can follow, and that is one important point that you are going to discover by watching this 30-minute interview.

Furthermore, ecurrencyhodler addresses the criticism and scrutiny that he and the rest of the Litecoin supporters get from Bitcoin maximalists, and tries to point to the positive side of the affair and the advantages of having other coins that experiment with different developments.

Much like Charlie Lee and John Moore before him, ecurrencyhodler is positive about future developments and is very involved in transforming LTC into a liquid currency which grows organically thanks to merchant adoption. If you would like to find out more about his opinions and ventures, then you should definitely watch this interview.

Given the halving of mining rewards and all the good news about partnering with Mimble Wimble coin Beam to develop confidential transactions, 2019 might just be a great year for Litecoin. However, no piece of information should be regarded as financial advice – do your own research, don’t follow the opinions of self-proclaimed thought leaders, and never invest more than you are prepared to lose.

Vlad is a political science graduate who got a little tired and disillusioned with the old highly-hierarchical and centralized world and decided to give this anarchistic blockchain invention a little try. He found out about Bitcoin in 2014, had to do a presentation about it at Sciences Po Paris in 2015, but was too foolish to buy any. Now that he’ll never be a crypto millionaire and hasn’t acquired his golden ticket to lifelong financial independence, he’ll just write op-eds on various topics.
